Terms of Use

These terms apply to the VoyaKin apps and voyakin.io (“VoyaKin”). By using VoyaKin you agree to them, along with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.

1. Who can use VoyaKin

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, and able to agree to these terms. Keep your login secure; you’re responsible for activity on your account.

2. Free to use

VoyaKin is free. There’s no subscription or paywall. We may set fair-use limits on costly features such as AI practice or video uploads, and we’ll show those limits in the app.

3. Your content

You own what you post. By posting, you give VoyaKin a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, adapt (for example, resize or transcode) and distribute your content to operate and promote VoyaKin, according to the visibility you choose. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies others have already shared and limited backups.

Only post content you have the right to share, and get permission before featuring other people in a recognizable way. Follow our Community Guidelines; we may remove content or suspend accounts that break them.

4. Travel information is not professional advice

Traveler stories, answers and tips are individual perspectives. They aren’t official guidance about any destination. Visa, entry, passport, health and safety rules change, so always check your own government and the destination’s official sources before you travel. You are responsible for your travel decisions.

5. AI language practice

AI conversation partners can make mistakes, including in translations and pronunciation feedback. Use them for practice, not as a definitive source.

6. Partner links and third parties

VoyaKin is not a travel agent. Some links go to partners, and VoyaKin may earn a commission if you book through a partner link. It doesn’t change your price. Purchases are between you and the partner, under their terms. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

7. Meeting other travelers

VoyaKin helps people connect around shared destinations, but we don’t screen users or arrange in-person meetings. Use good judgment, meet in public places, and never share where you’re staying publicly.

8. Acceptable use

• No harassment, hate, threats, scams, spam, impersonation or sexual exploitation.
• No attempts to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer VoyaKin, or to access accounts or data that aren’t yours.
• No posting other people’s private information.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time (see how). We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms or put others at risk.

10. Disclaimers

VoyaKin is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, VoyaKin won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for losses arising from travel you take, bookings you make with third parties, or content posted by other users. Some places don’t allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we’ll let you know in the app or by email before they take effect.
